LawKick, Inc. (the “Company”) strives to protect the privacy of our users however possible. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is meant to help you understand what information we collect, how we collect that information, and how the information is used and protected.

For purposes of this Agreement, “Service” refers to the Company’s service, as described in our Terms of Use. I. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT ABOUT OUR USERS?

We collect both “Visitor Data” and “Personally Identifiable Information.” Visitor Data includes information that is anonymous and cannot be used to personally identify you, including but not limited to usage data, demographic information, traffic sources, platform and browser types, and more. "Personally Identifiable Information" is information which can be used to identify you as an individual, which includes your email address, name, phone number, zip code, current location, and any other information required or requested during the sign up, profile editing, or questionnaire submission processes.

1. Information collected by Technology

In an effort to improve the quality of the Service, we track some information provided to us by users’ browsers using the standard cookie feature. This information includes but is not limited to the referring URL, the type of browser or device you use, the time and date, and other Visitor Data. Cookies are sent to a user’s browser from our servers and are stored on the user’s device. Cookies allow us to keep a record of each user’s preferences when utilizing the Service.

2. Information you provide by signing up for the Service

You will need to create an account and provide us with some basic Personally Identifiable Information to access the Service. To use the Service we do not require any Personally Identifiable Information other than your name, zip code, phone number, and email address. If you are an attorney, you are additionally required to submit your state provided Bar number(s) in order to use the Service. By registering, you are authorizing us to collect, store and use your information and data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

3. Information you provide when using the Service

You may also be asked to submit more details about yourself or your legal issues through your continued use of the Service. Your questions, answers, profile information, messages, and any other contributions to the Service, along with the metadata about them, are considered “User Generated Content.” This information will be shared in accordance with our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.

II. HOW DO WE USE AND SHARE USER INFORMATION?

Personally Identifiable Information:

In general, the Personally Identifiable Information we collect is used to help us communicate with you and to help facilitate your communication with other users of the Service. For example, we may use your information to contact you in response to questions, solicit your feedback, provide technical support, or inform you about promotions or other offers.

Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, trade, rent or otherwise share for marketing or other purposes your Personally Identifiable Information. We do share Personally Identifiable Information with certain third parties that are providing services for the Company. For example, our email communications providers have access to our user’s email addresses on their servers for purposes of sending you communication emails from our Service. Our payment-processing provider has access to your information as necessary for billing purposes. However, all of our vendors are contractually obligated to only use your Personally Identifiable Information as directed and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

In the event the Company undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your Personally Identifiable Information may be among the assets transferred or analyzed during the due diligence process. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to any such transfers, and authorize any successor to continue to use your Personally Identifiable Information under the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Visitor Data

We use Visitor Data primarily for the purpose of improving our Service. The Visitor Data we collect may be shared with third party service providers. For example, we share certain data with third party providers of data analysis software. However, any such third parties are obligated to only use this data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We may also share Visitor Data anonymously with business partners, affiliates, advertisers, the media, or other parties as deemed appropriate and necessary by the Company, in our sole discretion.

We protect your information from security breaches by implementing technological security measures. Such measures include encryption, firewalls, and secure socket layer technology. In addition, while we take every reasonable measure to ensure that other entities with whom your information may be shared keep that information confidential and secure, the activities of those entities are beyond our control. Finally, we encourage you to take steps to keep your own information safe by never disclosing your account details or password and by logging out after every use.

IV. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION AND OUR SERVICE

You have the right opt out of promotional or marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in any email. You can also adjust your email notification settings in the “Settings” area of your LawKick account. Please note that we may continue to send you administrative emails despite your email communication preferences. For example, such administrative emails may include notice of periodic updates to this Privacy Policy. If you wish for us to deactivate your account, please contact us, although we cannot guarantee that deactivating your account will permanently remove all Personally Identifiable Information that you have submitted from our Site or our Servers.

V. LINKS TO THIRD PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES

As part of our Service, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites or applications. We are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by any such website or application or for the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy applies strictly to information collected by LawKick through our Service and this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of any third party website accessed directly or indirectly through a link or other integration provided through our Service. We encourage users to read the privacy policies and terms of use of all other websites or applications before using them.

VI. OUR POLICY TOWARD CHILDREN

Our Service is not directed toward or intended to be used by persons under the age of 13. If you become aware that your child has accessed our Service or provided us with Personally Identifiable Information without your consent, please contact us. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personally Identifiable Information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child's account.

The Company reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service at any time, and at our own discretion. We will notify you of significant changes to our Privacy Policy by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account or by placing a prominent notification on the site.
